Learn about dedicated servers in SCP: Roleplay, including what they are, their benefits, and how to obtain one for your custom server.
In short, a dedicated server is a server that is up 24/7 and can be accessed at all times. These servers can even be seen at 0 players, via toggling the 'show full and empty servers' tag. Along with this, they will never truly be 'closed' unless one of the below is done.
Dedicated Servers also typically come with a custom server banner that appears inside of the custom server list. These decals go across the tab where the server is located, and allow these servers to stand out among the rest through this custom imagery. This imagery is picked by the server owners themselves, allowing them to be tailored to each server and what type of banner they wish to have.
A Dedicated Server can be given out to your server via the Faction Hub Verified Status program. This program provides you with various perks on the FH Discord and inside of the SCP:RP Game itself, with the in-game perks consisting of this dedicated server and banner.
You may apply for the Verified Status program at regular intervals (typically every 3-6 months) inside of the Factions Hub. These applications will be announced to everyone, so if you would like to gain one of these servers be sure to regularly check pings inside of FH Announcements to see if Verified Status applications have opened.
Application windows are limited and occur periodically. Make sure to stay active in the Faction Hub community and watch for announcements regarding when Verified Status applications become available.
